Target Drop – Privacy Policy
Effective date: October 8, 2026 · Last updated: November 2, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains what information is handled when you play Target Drop, a mobile game for Android, and what choices you have. Target Drop is developed and published by Abdellah Moukhless, publishing as Masnaa Games (“Moukhless”, “we”, “us”), an independent developer based in Morocco.
In short
- You do not need an account, and the game never asks for your name, email address, phone number, photos, contacts or precise location.
- Your progress and settings are saved only on your device. We do not run servers and we do not receive your game data.
- The game shows ads from Google AdMob. To show and measure ads and prevent fraud, Google collects some information from your device, such as your IP address, the advertising ID and how you interact with ads.
- In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, you are asked for consent before personalised ads are shown, and you can change your choice at any time in the game’s settings.
- In US states with a consumer privacy law, such as California, you can opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of your personal information for ads at any time with Privacy options in the game’s settings.
- Target Drop sells nothing: there are no in-app purchases.
1. Information stored on your device
To keep your progress, the game saves the following on your device only (in the app’s private storage):
- game progress: coins, best scores, rank and experience, unlocked skins, boosts, daily missions and challenges;
- settings: language, sound, music and vibration, and whether the tutorial has been completed.
This information is not sent to us or to anyone else, and it cannot identify you. The game does not use Unity Analytics, crash reporting services or any other analytics service of its own.
2. Advertising (Google AdMob)
Target Drop is free and is funded by ads: rewarded ads that you choose to watch (for example to continue a run or to get free coins) and an occasional ad between games. Ads are provided by Google AdMob through the Google Mobile Ads SDK. According to Google, the SDK collects and shares the following data for advertising, analytics and fraud prevention:
| Data | Examples |
|---|---|
| Approximate location | Your IP address, used to estimate your general location (country or city), never your precise GPS location. |
| Device identifiers | The Android advertising ID and the app set ID. |
| Interactions | App launches, taps on ads and ad video views. |
| Diagnostics | App and SDK performance information, such as launch time, freezes and energy use. |
This data is collected and processed by Google, not by us; we only see summary reports (for example how many ads were shown and how much they earned). Google’s use of this data is described in the Google Privacy Policy and in How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services.
Your choices about ads
- Consent (EEA, UK and Switzerland): the first time you open the game, Google’s consent form asks whether ads may be personalised. If you refuse, you may still see ads, but they are not personalised. You can change your choice at any time with Privacy options in the game’s Settings.
- Opt-out (US states): if you live in a US state with a consumer privacy law (for example California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia or Texas), the ad data that the Google Mobile Ads SDK collects in the game (see above) may count as a “sale” or “sharing” of personal information, or as targeted advertising, under that law. You can opt out at any time: open Privacy options in the game’s Settings and choose Don’t sell or share my data. Google then limits how it uses that data, and the ads you still see are no longer personalised with it.
- Advertising ID: on Android you can reset or delete your advertising ID in your device settings (usually Settings › Privacy › Ads or Settings › Google › Ads). When it is deleted, apps can no longer use it for personalised ads.
- Google ad settings: you can control how Google personalises ads at My Ad Center.
3. Permissions
The game uses only the Android permissions needed to work and to show ads: internet and network state (to load ads), the advertising ID permission (used by the Google Mobile Ads SDK as described above) and vibration (for haptic feedback, which you can turn off in Settings). It does not use your camera, microphone, contacts, files, photos or precise location.
The Google Mobile Ads SDK also adds a few technical permissions of its own: Android’s ad services permissions (advertising ID, ad attribution and topics), which let it use the privacy features built into Android for showing and measuring ads, and the wake lock and foreground service permissions, which a background-task library included with the SDK uses to finish short tasks such as sending ad reports. The game’s own code does not use these permissions.
4. How information is protected
Your game data stays in the app’s private storage, which other apps cannot read. Google states that the data its Mobile Ads SDK collects is encrypted in transit using TLS. We do not store any personal information on servers of our own.
5. Retention and deletion
- Game data: it stays on your device until you uninstall Target Drop or clear its data (Settings › Apps › Target Drop › Storage › Clear data). Both delete it permanently. We cannot restore it, because we never receive a copy.
- Advertising data: it is kept by Google according to Google’s retention policy. You can reset or delete your advertising ID at any time as described above.
6. Children
Target Drop is intended for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country). We do not knowingly allow the collection of personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the game, contact us and we will help remove it.
7. Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or some US states), you may have the right to access, correct or delete personal data about you, to object to or restrict its use, to withdraw consent, and to complain to a data protection authority. Because we hold no personal data about you, requests about advertising data are best made to Google, and consent for personalised ads can be changed in the game at any time. In US states with a consumer privacy law, your rights can also include opting out of the sale or sharing of your personal information and of targeted advertising, which you can do with Privacy options in the game’s Settings. Using any of these rights never changes how the game works for you. If you need help, write to us and we will answer within 30 days.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy, for example when the game gains new features. The new version will be published on this page with a new “Last updated” date. If a change affects how your information is used, we will also mention it in the game’s store listing or in the game.
